Look great for less!
Not gonna lie, this dress makes me look a lil thicker than I thought it would, especially with the ultra loose waistline. I guess I can't complain because the pictures still came out good.
About my clip-on bun, I got them from Clore beauty supply store here in Toronto and if I remember correctly it was about $15. I almost didn't buy it because I was already spending way more than I planned but I decided to add it to my cart. I thought it would be a great option for the days I'm not quite in the mood for lace units.
I decided to pair my bun with an off-shoulder dress that a purchased from a local bodega that happen to sell cute indian outfits. The sales person priced the dress at $25 but I beat the price down to $20! My neck felt a little bare so I popped on a trusty gold choker, it seemed to go nicely with my peachy look.
For my makeup, I used L'oreal true match foundation (shade C7) and NYX HD studio photogenic concealer (shade CE-07) for the perfect base.
I pulled out a recent purchase; the Shayla X Colourpop Perception eyeshadow palette. I have been supporting Shayla for years so I had to show love for her most recent collaboration. I don't wear makeup very often in my everyday life but I have used this palette in every single makeup look I've done since I bought it on the release day. It is very buttery and blends like a dream, definitely recommended for the everyday girl who likes simplicity with a little kick. I also used her lipstick in the shade 'oouuuu!'. The lipstick was a little too light for my skin tone so I used an essence lip liner in the colour 02-hot chocolate, and a clear gloss atop.
The glow is always real when Bobbi Brown bronze glow highlighter is involved. To tie it all together, I sprayed Mac fix plus all over my face for a dewy finish.
